In order to teach JA in a Day at J.O. Davis Elementary School in Irving, Texas, Populus Financial Group went back to the classroom. 352 kids in third through fifth grade were taught about entrepreneurship, work and career readiness, and financial literacy by Populus volunteers. Additionally, Populus’ charitable giving initiative, The ACE Community Fund, gave Junior Achievement a yearly corporate commitment of $15,000. The 12th meeting of the Indo-German joint working group to encourage Vocational Education and Training (VET) was held today, December 7, 2022. The deliberations at the meeting were aimed at institutionalizing a standard mechanism for VET to meet the skill requirements in priority sectors as per German standards.
