The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras’s Centre for Outreach and Digital Education is inviting applications for its new courses. These executive education courses are for six months and are for earmarked for those people who want upskill their current profile.
The last date to register for these courses is June 20 and the programme commences from July 1. This programme is being conducted online in bid to reach various parts of the country.
Construction Technology and Management, eMobility and Electric Vehicle Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain Analytics for Strategic Decision Making, Quantum Computing and Additive Manufacturing Technologies from Practicing Engineers are some of the areas which are included in these six months of executive education courses.
These online programmes also include live interactions with professionals and weekly assignments in addition to online lectures. The eMobility and Electric Vehicle Engineering course was created primarily to present the basic ideas and practical uses of electric vehicles and related technology.
The program completion certificate was distributed to the first cohort, after successful completion, on April 29 whereas the second is going on and registration for the third cohort is now open.
Courses such as Quantum Computing program and Supply Chain Analytics for Strategic Decision-Making Program introduce the necessary practical concepts to prove their decisions. By taking the Additive Manufacturing course, working engineers can learn about the basic ideas that support the various additive manufacturing methodologies as well as how the acquired knowledge is put to use to boost the commercial viability of the additive manufacturing technologies that are currently on the market.
