The number of students registered for the October 2022 exam at the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) was disclosed today by Minister of State for Education Annapurna Devi. 1,23,644 pupils were enrolled in Class 12 and 77,836 students were enrolled in Class 10.
Out of the aforementioned amount, 1,23,619 students from Class 12 and 76,776 students from Class 10 took the exam in October 2022, respectively. In all, 43,930 students in the 10th grade and 59,371 students in the 12th grade passed the exam.
The candidates who switched to NIOS from other boards and cleared the exam are 4438 students in Class 10 and 4749 students came in Class 12. The minister of state was answering a question raised by BJP MP Dipsinh Shankarsinh Rathod.
The schedule for the next theory exams in April and May of 2023 was just made public by NIOS. For grades 10 and 12, exams will start on April 6 and end on May 20.
