EAB and BridgeU collaborate on US admissions

Platform for guidance As part of an effort to assist US colleges in reaching and recruiting more international undergraduate students, BridgeU has partnered with an enrollment solution based in the US.

EAB, which purchased Concourse in 2022, will work as a strategic partner in the US with the college and career advisory firm that serves foreign K–12 schools. For BridgeU, it is a true testament to the company’s aspirations and possibilities for expansion.

According to BridgeU CEO Lucy Stonehill, “we frequently hear from our counselors and students that US colleges and universities are among the most sought-after destinations for international students looking to study abroad.”

Kaplan’s company, BridgeU, has previously advised lesser-known US universities to get ready for a more competitive global market. According to ISC Research, during the last ten years, there has been a more than 50% increase in the number of K–12 English-taught schools worldwide.

According to Chris Marett, president of Marketing and Enrollment Solutions at EAB, “US colleges are highly motivated to connect with students abroad to grow their enrolments and bring different worldviews to their campuses, but recruiting international students can be difficult and expensive.”

As part of an all-encompassing enrollment strategy, colleges can now collaborate with EAB to engage with the BridgeU global community, providing them with a more efficient means of reaching out to international students.

With more than 140 countries covered by its K–12 international school network, BridgeU serves over 112,000 international high school students along with 9,600 college advisors, instructors, and counselors.
