IIT-Mandi Invites Applications for Short-Term Machine Learning, IoT-Based Automation Courses; No JEE Score Needed

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi is inviting applications for short-term certificate programs in machine learning and IoT-based automation. The short-term certificate programs are open to engineering, BCA, MCA, ITI, polytechnic, teachers, trainers, and working professionals and will be offered free of cost.

The IIT Mandi short-term program deadline is January 12; on January 15, batches for the machine learning and IoT-based automation training program will begin.

To introduce these various training programs, Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN) and the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) at IIT Mandi have partnered. According to a statement from IIT Mandi, the free programs seek to give participants useful skills and knowledge, promote professional development, and advance education and vocational training in the area as a whole.

IIT Mandi short-term course: Duration, objectives

The course will run for a full month. These programs will put a strong emphasis on soft skills, English communication, interview preparation, personality development, group discussions, entrepreneurship, and startup support for candidates’ overall growth and professional success.

In the Machine Learning programme, students will learn mathematical foundations, python programming, statistical foundations and visualisation data, visualisation and pre-processing machines, learning and applications and others areas.

Candidates for the certificate program in internet of things (IoT) based automation training will receive domain sessions covering computer vision, web development, Python programming, Android application development, and more than ten IoT projects.

With the aid of these components, candidates will be able to acquire practical skills that are immediately applicable to the workplace in addition to learning theoretical concepts. The amalgamation of programming, web development, application development, and practical lab sessions equips students to tackle a wide range of obstacles that may arise in the Internet of Things domain.
