The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) this year launched the first four-year Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Data Science and Applications with options to exit earlier in the foundation, diploma or BSc degree level.
Additionally, you can choose to end at any time. The learner may receive a Foundation Certificate from IITM CODE (Centre for Outreach and Digital Education), a Diploma from IIT Madras, a BSc in Programming and Data Science from IIT Madras, or a BS in Data Science and Applications from IIT Madras, contingent on the courses taken and credits earned.
Eligibility
Anybody who completed Class 12 or its equivalent is eligible to apply, regardless of age or educational background. If they are eligible, they can sign up for the program right away, or
A three-year minimum diploma from a state board of technical education or an AICTE-recognized program,
Any public school, board, or university exam that is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as being equivalent to the 10+2 system in India or any other country, or
final exam for the National Defense Academy’s two-year Joint Services Wing program, or
— passing the Advanced (A) General Certificate of Education (GCE) exam in London, Cambridge, or Sri Lanka, or
The International Baccalaureate Diploma from the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva, or the Cambridge University High School Certificate Examination
The vocational examination for the Higher Secondary Certificate, or
— Intermediate or two-year Pre-University test administered by an accredited university or board, or
— passing the National Institute of Open Schooling’s Senior Secondary School Examination in at least five subjects, or
The Cambridge University High School Certificate Examination or the International Baccalaureate Diploma from the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva
The Higher Secondary Certificate’s vocational test, or
— Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination given by a board or university with accreditation, or
— earning at least five passing grades on the Senior Secondary School Examination administered by the National Institute of Open Schooling,
