For international students enrolling in the University of Sheffield’s taught master’s program beginning in September 2024, the university is offering a “international postgraduate scholarship 2024.” The scholarship is worth £2,500 for courses in the Faculty of Science, £2,000 for courses in the Faculty of Engineering, and £2,500 for courses in the Faculty of Health and Humanities.
It is important for applicants to keep in mind that there is no application process necessary for this scholarship, as the international postgraduate taught Sheffield scholarship 2024 will be given out automatically provided all eligibility requirements are met. Furthermore, the scholarships will only be awarded in the form of reduced tuition fees.
Eligibility and award criteria
— To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be a national of or permanently domiciled in India.
— The taught master’s programme must be scheduled to commence at the University of Sheffield in September 2024.
— In order to be eligible for this award, candidates must have accepted the course offer by June 14, 2024, at 4:00 PM (UK time).
— Scholarships are not available for master’s programs that are split between the University of Sheffield and a partner institution.
— Interested candidates should be self-funded and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes.
Subject to meeting all eligibility and award requirements, part-time students will receive the full-time equivalent of the scholarship, split pro rata over the course of the Masters program. Moreover, the international postgraduate taught scholarship 2024 is not available for Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) or Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) programs.
