The Academic Excellence International Master’s Scholarship is now available to Indian students at the University of Essex. Indian students wishing to register in January 2024 intakes can apply for scholarships valued up to £3000. The stipend is given out as a prorated waiver of the tuition cost.
Indian students from tier 2 universities who are self-funding their postgraduate studies after completing their undergraduate degrees abroad or in the UK are eligible for this grant.
November 30 is the deadline for submitting the scholarship application. When applications are submitted in full for courses that meet the requirements, they will be immediately taken into consideration. Based on the academic transcripts and certifications the candidate presents with their application for admission to Essex, the University will determine the candidate’s eligibility.
Scholarships are awarded based on the academic standing of the applicant. In addition to official English language test results and academic or professional references, applicants must provide a thorough statement of purpose. Additionally, students who have attained a minimum of 60% or a CGPA of 2.6/4 or 6.5/10 are qualified for the award.
With the exception of East 15 Acting School, all departments and courses are eligible for the award.
