The Department of Health at the University of Bath, a leading UK university, is now accepting applications for the BSc Sport programme for the 2024-2025 academic year. For the forthcoming academic year, the institution is offering three courses: BSc Sport and Exercise Science, BSc Sport Management and Coaching, and BSc Health and Exercise Science.
The classes give students the opportunity to study about the science of sport, exercise and health, coaching, management, leisure and physical activity, and how the body functions. According to a university news release, many students who complete these sports-related courses move on to graduate school or careers in coaching, sport media and marketing, performance analysis, or physical education teaching.
The deadline for applications is January 31, 2024. Students must submit a personal statement, a teacher reference, and other pertinent materials as part of the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) application process.
Indian students who have or are presently enrolled in coursework through the CISCE and CBSE boards must average 80% in four different topics. For example, the BSc Sport and Exercise Science course requires a minimum grade of 85% in Mathematics or Science. On each course’s individual page, you can find specific entry criteria for A levels or the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
Candidates must meet the university’s standards for English proficiency. For the CISCE and CBSE boards, students must receive a minimum of 75% in the subject. Alternative English language exams including the TOEFL IBT, PTE Academic, and IELTS are also accepted by the university.
Starting in 2024, the tuition fee for Indian students will be 28,800 ponds (29,59,701) per year, to be paid annually according to the specified payment terms.
