For far too many people, the cost of a college education made it seem unreachable, but at Northeastern Illinois University, the once-unachievable college degree is now firmly within reach thanks to the NEIU for You Scholarship programme. Our institution suggested a scholarship programme in the spring of 2021 to boost applications, admissions, and recruitment efforts. It will pay tuition and obligatory fees for incoming first-year, full-time undergraduate students for the first year. With 330 new students enrolled in the NEIU for You programme for the fall 2021 semester, it is already proving to be successful, as seen by the over 55% increase in first-time, full-time undergraduate enrollment.

As a result of this development, the project was expanded to cover the first four years of a bachelor’s degree in tuition. Manish Kumar, vice president of NEIU for finance and administration, has been in charge of this new 2.0 effort.
