Certificate Programme in Child-Care Aide

UNICEF and other international agencies have been promoting the concept of caring for the first 1000 days, including nine months of pregnancy and the first two years of life. There’s been an increasing requirement for services in immediate postnatal care, early newborn care, breastfeeding support, developmental assessment, early stimulation, nutrition of infants, the safety of young children, early identification of developmental delays and care of infants with special needs. During the first six months of the aforementioned courses, participants would be provided theoretical and practical training in these areas.

The two fields where parents would be willing to make reasonable payments for support services at home would be for children with autism and children with specific learning disabilities. Hence, during the second six months (internship period), participants of both the courses will be provided hands-on training with specific modules.

Eligibility  of this course is candidates should pass 10th std, Minimum age is 18 years, and female candidates can only apply. The duration of the course is 1000 hours. After completing the course candidates can work  in the  area of Health Care Worker.

Eligibility for the course is 10th pass out. Duration of the course is 300 hours. After completing the course candidates can work  in the  area of General Duty Assistant.
