The winners of the 2023 CollegeAdvisor.com Scholars Program have been announced by CollegeAdvisor.com, one of the top organisations in the country for college counselling.
The CollegeAdvisor.com Scholars Program offers high school students who can prove they have a financial need and want to further their education free, all-inclusive admissions help. Scholars frequently come from historically underrepresented groups or are first-generation college candidates. Nearly 80% of the 2023 Scholars identify as students of colour, with more than 50% of them being first-generation college applicants. Since its launch in 2019, the CollegeAdvisor.com Scholars Program has helped over 200 students. The number of participants in the programme keeps increasing, with a 125 percent yearly rise in applications. “The admission procedure for colleges is challenging. The CollegeAdvisor.com Scholars Program, on the other hand, gave me access to a wealth of resources, including webinars, essay guides, etc., as well as a personal college advisor who was always available to me and was able to give me the best, most accurate advice regarding the college application process “said Kathleen Nguyen, a 2022 Scholar who will be attending UCLA in the fall. Since taking part in the Scholars Program, I have learned to value who I am as a person and have discovered that I am successful today.
Every CollegeAdvisor.com Scholar is paired with a committed, highly skilled college admissions coach who offers individualised guidance and assistance throughout the entire admissions process. The Scholar will collaborate with their coach to create their essays, get ready for interviews, complete their college list, and attend webinars and specialised seminars created to help them through every application milestone during the course of the year. The goal of the CollegeAdvisor.com Scholars Program is to further CollegeAdvisor.com’s dedication to fairness and accessibility in higher education.
