The IELTS Online exam allows test takers greater flexibility over where they take it. Still, it has the same duration, substance, and structure as the academic IELTS test administered in test centers on paper and on a computer. Even with the live video call, the Speaking test is still given one-on-one with a certified IELTS examiner.
