According to CBSE authorities, technology has marked a turning point in Indian education and would help close the equality gap

According to CBSE authorities, the future of education lies in tackling the issues of fairness and access, with technology ushering in a sea change in the Indian educational system. “The problem of fairness and access must be addressed if education is to have a bright future. A turning point in the Indian educational system has been brought about by technology forums or developing technological sectors. Everyone has to understand how technology is influencing and driving educational institutions and procedures, which has been accelerated by the COVID-19 epidemic.

According to Biswajit Saha, Director-Skills and Training, CBSE, “it is also vital to put the emphasis on the process of curriculum creation as we adopt and adapt as per the requirements of the business. The commercial and governmental sectors must collaborate to advance the technologically enhanced curriculum under the umbrella of 21st century skills in order to create a tech-savvy education centre in India. To transition to an outcome-based approach and determine where and how education is really provided to close equity gaps, a digitally enhanced learning ecosystem is required,” the author continued.

During a roundtable discussion on the revolutionary change in the education industry brought on by the pandemic and evolution of the educational environment, Saha made the remarks. The World Economic Forum estimates that the epidemic caused school cancellations that affected more than 1.2 billion students in 186 countries, according to Navtez Bal, Executive Director, Microsoft India.
“Technology is enabling schools, instructors, and students throughout the world to achieve more than ever before, and it played a crucial part in preserving learning continuity at this time. Our goal at Microsoft is to design inclusive, immersive experiences that encourage lifelong learning, encourage the growth of critical life skills, and help teachers in identifying and fostering student interests,” the executive stated.
