LAKELAND, Fla., April 29, 2022 — The famous Junior Journey programme at Florida Southern College has been resurrected, and it will begin immediately. During the worldwide COVID-19 epidemic, the global travel programme was halted. The Junior Journey programme allows students to grow intellectually and culturally while earning academic credit. Trips last one to three weeks and are conducted by teachers and other trained professionals. They allow students to see how what they are learning in the classroom may be applied in diverse contexts.
Dr. Brad Hollingshead, provost of Florida Southern College, remarked, “The Junior Journey is an integral piece of our active learning approach.” “As the world continues to open up, we’re looking forward to resuming our signature travel programme.” Students at Florida Southern University can now sign up for summer trips to either Spain or Germany in 2022. All qualified students will get information on the Fall Break 2022 Junior Journey soon.
