Under the Technical Intern Training Program, Learned Skills sends 18 candidates to Japan.

Learned Skills, India’s market leader in the skill development and vocational education sector, announced today that it successfully sent a large batch of 18 candidates to Japan under the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP) on April 13, 2022, in various job roles such as Caregiver, Electroplater, Plastic Moulding, and more. They will be joining the four applicants supplied by Learnet before. These 18 applicants will now begin working under the supervision of their Supervising Organizations, Ecology Business Cooperative and Well Corp, after a few years of delay owing to the epidemic.

Mr Satoshi from the Japanese Embassy, together with Mr Anshul Singhal of the NSDC, attended a felicitation event for the students to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and India. Japan would welcome 2+ lakh technical interns from India for on-the-job training over a period of 3 to 5 years as part of the bilateral cooperation agreement announced in October 2017. TITP is a significant effort aimed at promoting skill development not just for employment, but also to empower Indian youth for greater social mobility and economic growth.

The primary goal of TITP is to help develop talented individuals who can contribute to the development of their countries, industries, and economies by accepting young and middle-aged workers from developing countries as interns in Japan and transferring technical skills, technology, and knowledge to the interns’ home countries’ industries.

“Words cannot explain the pride that I feel for these young professionals,” RCM Reddy, MD & CEO, Learned Skills, remarked of the program’s accomplishment. At Learned Skills, we make sure that no stone is left unturned in assisting them in achieving their goals. I wish the candidates the best of luck and guarantee them that they will get all necessary help throughout their career in Japan and upon their return. It’s a fantastic achievement to see so many students from around the nation, including Delhi, Kerala, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, and Andhra Pradesh, work in Japan to improve their lives and enhance our connection.”
