The Leadership and Entrepreneurship in the Arts program at Daemen University, in collaboration with Arts Services Inc. and Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology, has issued a call for work to artists under the age of 30 for EMERGENCE ’23. Billed as a Celebration of Emerging Artists, EMERGENCE ’23 will consist of two juried shows designed to foreground young artists on the cutting edge of tomorrow. The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the December 2022 term-end examinations (TEE) assignment submission deadline. Candidates enrolled for December 2022 TEE can now submit the hard copy or soft copy of the assignments for both Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes till November 30, 2022. The IGNOU December TEE 2022 assignment can be submitted by the students through the official website of IGNOU– ignou.ac.in. A new Innovation for Health (IFH) cooperation between OSF HealthCare and Bradley University aims to provide scholarly research that can lead to workable solutions to enhance both individual and community health. The new partnership, comprising staff members at Bradley University and OSF HealthCare, two of Peoria’s biggest and most influential nonprofit organisations, aims to foster a vibrant, cooperative research community. India and European have explored ways to facilitate mobility and migration of talented professionals, students and skilled workforce for the mutual benefit of both the sides, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Friday. The issues figured at the 6th High Level Dialogue on Migration and Mobility (HLDMM) between India and the European Union that took place in Brussels on October 27. Jadavpur University has earned the distinction of being the only state-run varsity from India to feature in the QS Sustainability World Ranking 2023. A total of 700 institutes feature in the list, of which 15 are from India. A JU spokesperson said on Thursday that the ranking is based on sustainability performance focusing on environmental and social impacts of the higher education institutes and has considered metrics like sustainable education, sustainable research, equality, knowledge exchange and impact of education. A day after its first round of seat allocation concluded with the majority of them getting filled up, Delhi University on Wednesday published a list of vacant seats. In many of the courses, only one to two seats will be available for candidates in the second round of seat allocation, according to the list. Of the 72,800 students who have accepted the college and course allotted to them by Delhi University, over 54,000 have sealed their admission by paying fees as of Monday evening, a university official said. The last date for payment of fees for admission to Delhi University’s undergraduate programmes following the first round of seat allocation is October 25 (Tuesday). Over 72,800 candidates, out of 80,164, have accepted the DU college and course allotted to them in the university’s first round of seat allocations.
