The Delhi University has announced a special spot admission round for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2023-24 for certain shortlisted programmes/ colleges. As per the official schedule, the Delhi University will display the vacant seats on September 18 (5 pm).
Participants in this special spot admission round must have applied for CSAS-2023 and not have been admitted to any DU institution as of the date the special spot admission round was announced. The admitted candidates won’t be able to revoke their admissions though until the special spot admission round has been announced.
The candidate must select “Special Spot Admission” from his or her dashboard in order to be included in the special spot admission round. Subject to seats being available, applicants will be able to select any programs at as many universities as they desire.
Allocations will be done based on the following criteria:
– Availability of seats
– Program- Specific merit
– Order of preference of college (Program + College)
– Category
According to Delhi University’s official schedule, students will have from September 18 through September 20 to submit their applications for the special spot admission round. After then, contenders will have until September 22 to accept the special slot allocation announcement, which will be made on September 21 at 10 am.
