The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the JEE Main 2024 registration portal today, November 30. Applicants yet to register for the IIT JEE Main 2024 can apply online at jeemain.nta.ac.in. The JEE Main 2024 will be conducted in two rounds this year — January and April. Candidates will be intimated with the exam cities in the second week of January 2024. JEE Main 2024 application started on November 1, 2023.
JEE Main 2024 will have two sessions: the first from January 24 to February 1 and the second from April 6 to April 12. The BArch and BPlanning papers will be held separately as JEE Main papers 2A and 2B, respectively, while the BE/BTech papers will be held as JEE Main paper 1.
The JEE Mains question paper will also have internal choices within the sections — mathematics, physics and chemistry.

Step 1: Go to the official website —jeemain.nta.ac.in
Step 2: Register by filling in the email address and mobile phone number
Step 3: Using the system-generated registration or application number, complete the JEE Main 2024 application form
Step 4: Upload scanned documents including photograph and signature
Step 5: Pay the JEE Main 2024 application fee online
Step 6: Submit the JEE Main application
Step 7: Download, save and print the JEE Main 2024 confirmation page
In 2023, 11.62 lakh people registered for JEE Main overall. Of those, 11.13 lakh candidates took part in the exam’s two sessions, which were held on 13 different dates between January 24 and April 15.
JEE Main 2024: Checklist
-Applicants must first create an account on the Digilocker of the National Academic Depository (NAD).
– They will now be able to select Abu Dhabi as their exam location.
– The result mode and associated field for the candidates clearing the Tamil Nadu board Class 10 exam in 2021 have been disabled to support the students.
-It is not necessary for candidates to send any documents—including the JEE Main 2024 application confirmation page—to NTA by hand, fax, email, post, or WhatsApp.
– A candidate is not required to attend both JEE Main 2024 sessions. But if a candidate for JEE Main shows up for more than one session, the best JEE Main 2024 NTA scores will be taken into account when creating the merit list or ranking.
