RCSI Bahrain Nursing Programs are accredited by Saudi Arabia.

BUSAITEEN, Bahrain, January 29, 2023 — The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Education has accredited the nursing programmes offered by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain). The University’s strategic goal to assist the development of the nursing workforce in the Middle East includes this acknowledgment. The undergraduate and graduate nursing programmes at RCSI Bahrain have received accreditation from the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Education. As a result, Saudi nationals desiring to enter the nursing profession and get a postgraduate nursing degree will now be able to finish their education at RCSI Bahrain and go on to work as nurses either at home or abroad.

“We are very honoured to receive accreditation from the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia, and we appreciate the efforts of the Higher Education Council in Bahrain led by Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council and Deputy Chairperson of the Higher Education Council Board of Trustees, in supporting this,” said Mr. Stephen Harrison-Mirfield, Managing Director of RCSI Bahrain. We are aware that our ability to draw exceptional students from Saudi Arabia and the rest of the globe depends largely on our stellar reputation for teaching and learning. Employers and worldwide quality indicators have already recognised the calibre of our nursing graduates, which is further demonstrated by their ability to find job anywhere in the globe or in their own country.

A component university of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, which was founded in Dublin, Ireland, in 1784, is RCSI Bahrain. In 2004, the independent private institution RCSI Bahrain welcomed a class of 28 medical students. It is a non-profit institution of health sciences with a strong emphasis on research and education to advance improvements in human health everywhere in the world. More than 1,300 students attend the purpose-built campus’ Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery, as well as Postgraduate Studies and Research today.
