Students from Pearl Academy demonstrated how technology and creativity can coexist at “Portfolio 2022.” Portfolio 2022, an annual event, is a kaleidoscope of concepts and a striking display of a wide variety of cutting-edge initiatives in the domains of design, fashion, creative practises, media, and business. The two-day event was opened by Smt. Darshana Vikram Jardosh, Union Minister of State for Textile and Railways. She was accompanied by Aditi Srivastava, president of Pearl Academy, and Sharad Mehra, president of the Creative Arts Education Society. Ashish N Soni, a fashion designer, and Sunil Sethi, the chairman of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), opened the fashion show that the School of Fashion students designed and produced.
Smt. Darshana Vikram Jardosh, Union Minister of State for Railways and Textiles, encouraged the students at Portfolio 2022 “I applaud Pearl Academy for fostering kids’ interest in a variety of creative arts and fusing them with cutting-edge technology. Vocal for Local, Skill India, and Atmanirbhar Bharat are three initiatives that I would want to urge students to strive for since they represent the country’s future. The success of our country and its people depends on these government efforts. She furthermore exhorted the pupils to make use of their academic expertise to discover and preserve Indian traditional art and craft as well as to help regional craftsmen.”
